Coddiwompling

What better way to spend one’s life than to coddiwomple and that’s what Georgie and I are doing with our villa (and our lives). We are travelling purposefully towards an unknown end result but it’s sure as hell going to be a fun journey which will hopefully end up in a positive place.
We set of for Bali again on Tuesday evening and will spend Wednesday having meetings with our legal guy as well as Wayan, our project manager and his builder. Georgie is drawing up the finer details of the renovation and as usual we are tweeking as we go. Yesterday, after having a meeting with our Balinese friend Made Mudin we made major changes to the pool layout which will impact the final look and feel of our property.

We’ve recently also discovered that coddiwampling is the way to go on our evening walks. We’ve been driving up the Mount Dandenong Tourist Rd from our home, which isn’t too far away and parking our car in some random spot and just walking up a side street, not having any idea where it will take us or what we will see. I am absolutely loving this because there is no prediction on what the experience will be like so we get a fabulous combo of exercise and adventure.

This new walking strategy seems to sum up the way I want to live the rest of my life ….. sort of purposeful anarchy with some general parameters.
We both feel confident that we can coddiwomple our way through the next few years having a ball as we make our merry way along the evrlasting pathways of life.
