Life is Like a Wonderful Holiday

I had a mental flash this morning about how to view the rest of my life.
Apart from the simple fact that I want to experience each moment as it happens I had a thought about breaking down the next 3 decades into “theoretic weeks” based on my “Life is like a 3 week Holiday” hypotheses. Before I go any further I have recently upgraded my “holiday” to 4 weeks and now I’m shooting for 100.
So now I’m 68 and have about 1.5 years to prepare for my 70th birthday when my last 3week holiday will begin.
This gives me quite a while getting ready for the holiday. Improving my heath and fitness, choosing my wardrobe, amassing my technology.
So February 5, 2022 will be the beginning of this new “upgraded” life is a holiday project.
This one will overlay the basic “4 week holiday” where each week is equivalent to 25 years. In the new one, each week is 10 years so by the time I reach the end of this “3 weeks” I will be 100 and if I do make it to the end I will have options to extend.
It’s going to be a different “holiday” to the first version that I postulated about 15 years ago but it will give some definition to my efforts.

Part of the package is going to be simply staying in good physical shape to enjoy every day. I need to stay fit and healthy, inside and out, physically and mentally, also spiritually of course, I have to retain a sense of humour and even more important a sense of wonder and discovery. There will be more to learn in the next 30 years than ever before and who knows, someone might be finally be able to explain what happens to each of us after death, backed with scientific research.
One thing that I have realized lately is that nothing is static. No ideas, no scientific research, everything is always changing and I have to remain totally open to new discoveries. I have to be willing to allow my current beliefs and knowledge to be challenged.
In my new theory each day of the “3 weeks” will be equivalent to approximately 520 days, each hour will be almost 22 days and each minute will be equal to about one third of a day.
This might sound weird and crazy, frivolous and shallow but it works for me.
