Comforting Lies or Unpleasant Truths
I have really fallen down the rabbit hole in regard to the “Covid 19 situation”. While I believe that as Australians each of us has a right to make our own informed decision about what direction we take in regard to our personal health and our plans to protect others. I also believe that this situation is no longer just about a virus and a pandemic, while this pandemic is a reality that I have no doubt about, my concerns are more importantly directed toward the future direction of the human race. This situation is a first world phenomena which is now filtering into more of the third world economies. Mandated vaccination programs, lockdowns, authoritarianism, government lies, polarisation within our society.
These conditions have always existed but in the past they have been associated with overtly despotic and corrupt governments not the so called democratic governments.
We have another pandemic that is afflicting us and I believe that it is cognitive dissonance.
Cognitive dissonance refers to the mental conflict that occurs when a person’s behaviours and beliefs do not align.
It may also happen when a person holds two beliefs that contradict one another.
Cognitive dissonance causes feelings of unease and tension, and people attempt to relieve this discomfort in different ways. Examples include “explaining things away” or rejecting new information that conflicts with their existing beliefs.

Having said that I do genuinely believe that there are many things we can do to improve our health, to educate people on simple activities like diet, exercise, supplements, repurposed medicines that might help to improve their immune systems and bodies response to the virus … evolution’s gift to the human species. I also believe that there is a place for the current batch of vaccinations that could be important and effective for the most vulnerable segment of society. In some cases we will have to weigh up the odds.
But back to my original hypothesis. My first thought was that I have never seen anything like this, but that is so far from the truth that it’s not funny. I just did a quick scan of my own lifespan and the events that have unfolded where the majority of people have been duped and fooled by the governments of the world.
Theses governments have convinced a large percentage of the populous to accept their wars : Korea, Vietnam, Central America, Afghanistan, Iraq.
We were all lied to by Ansell Keys and the sugar industry to believe that fat was the enemy and allowed the food industry to introduce low fat processed, sugary foods and toxic vegetable oils into our diets which has resulted in a health crisis that would have seemed impossible 60 years ago. People are still chained to this falsehood no matter how much Type II diabetes exist, alzheimer’s disease, Parkinsons, cancer and the other modern aliments that nobody wonders about, just take them for granted.
We have allowed the medical profession be captured by big pharma. Prevention is looked upon as some sort of hippy, alternative weird concept while drugs are pushed on to people who are sickened by the ravages of modern living to cure the ailments that are caused in the name of comfort and big profits.
We were lied to about the assassination of President Kennedy and fell for the bullet theory that propounded by the Warren Commission that a projectile fired from a rifle could turn a corner, we were also led to believe that the twin towers and other buildings collapsed due to planes flying into them, as we were convinced that it was the ethical thing to do to invade Iraq because they had weapons of mass destruction.

Yes, people can be convinced and they can be convinced pretty damn easily. But this time they are the recipients of the deception, as are their children. Who knows what will unfold on the level of health and well being as the years unfold. I really hope not much, but at the same time I in fact doubt it. In 20 years time the truth may surface and today’s actions will be justified by people saying that they thought it was the right thing to do at the time. Just like thalidomide once was.
But this time I do not feel as much compassion for the masses who allow themselves to be rounded up and put into “mental concentration camps”. This is the age of information. A promised land for critical thinkers, a land of ideological milk and honey. Even though the media and tech giants are doing their best to impose censorship onto us there is still more information available to peruse than ever before in the history of mankind.
Our leaders stand before us uttering authoritarian threats, changing their minds and directions, telling us that we are in danger and that we all must comply for the greater good. This is while a few remaining uncaptured articulate medical researchers, virologists, doctors, immunologists, biologists, economists and philosophers speak clearly the simple truths that seem so logical when you take the time to listen to them and assess them.
There is no excuse to be lazy and apathetic when it comes to analysing information and data at this point in mankind’s history. This is simply irresponsible and lazy with maybe a sprinkling of fear thrown in to spice things up.
It looks like the odds are against the minority who feel a need to challenge the mainstream. Back in the late 60s and early 70s mass demonstrations seemed to work. The Vietnam Moratoriums had a huge impact on public opinion but times have changed and with modern communication lines and the full pockets of the huge corporations subliminal ideas and concepts can be surreptitiously entered into the equation in the form of new words and labels like anti-vaxxers, covid deniers and other broad and nasty generalities that instantly brand people as crack pots.
What I can do is to attempt to share appropriate information that I believe to be wise and do whatever I can to get others to at least consider it.
