EBOO: The Ultimate Blood Detox? My Experience with Ozone Therapy in Bali

What Is EBOO?

EBOO stands for Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation. It’s a cutting-edge medical therapy where your blood is drawn from the body, exposed to medical-grade ozone, and then returned—all in real-time via a closed-loop dialysis-like machine.

Unlike basic ozone treatments like MAH (Major Autohemotherapy), where only a small vial of blood is treated with ozone and reinfused, EBOO purifies a large volume of blood—up to 5.4 litres in a 90-minute session—making it exponentially more powerful and comprehensive.

How It Works

  1. Blood Extraction: Blood is drawn through one vein and circulated through a specialized machine.

  2. Ozonation: The blood is exposed to 250 mcg of ozone, an activated form of oxygen (O₃).

  3. Filtration: Many clinics—including the one I attend—include ultra-filtration to remove debris, cholesterol crystals, uric acid, and cellular waste.

  4. Return: Ozonated, filtered blood is returned to the body via a second vein.

What Does EBOO Do to the Blood?

  • Increases Oxygen Saturation: Boosts the ability of red blood cells to carry oxygen.

  • Breaks Rouleaux: Red blood cells often clump together in unhealthy blood (seen in my own live blood analysis). EBOO helps separate them, improving microcirculation.

  • Reduces Oxidative Stress: Paradoxically, controlled ozone exposure stimulates the body’s own antioxidant defenses, including glutathione and superoxide dismutase.

  • Detoxifies the Bloodstream: Helps eliminate toxins, metabolic waste, and inflammatory molecules.

  • Improves Immune Function: Activates immune cells, including T-cells and macrophages.

My Experience: The Liver Story

In June 2024, I had an ultrasound that showed an enlarged, scarred liver—a likely combination of past lifestyle and systemic inflammation. I embarked on a liver-healing mission that included:

  • 8 EBOO sessions at Chai Clinic in Denpasar, Bali (August–September 2024)

  • Liver flushes via IV infusions

  • Chinese herbal medicine

  • Colonics for gut and liver support

By December 2024, another ultrasound showed no signs of cirrhosis—a truly extraordinary outcome. Was it just the EBOO? Possibly not. I also eat clean, avoid alcohol, and do regular HBOT and sauna. But I can say with confidence that EBOO was a major catalyst in shifting my liver health trajectory.

The Klinik Penyehat Chai in Bali

Chai Clinic in Denpasar has become my go-to centre for cellular-level healing. They offer:

  • Medical-grade EBOO treatments

  • Glutathione and vitamin infusions

  • Colonics

  • Traditional Chinese herbals

Their multi-pronged approach is unique: Western diagnostics meet Eastern philosophy. The team understands the complexity of detoxification and how crucial the liver is in the healing cascade.

Why I Keep Coming Back

Every time I return to Bali and restart these treatments, I feel younger, lighter, and more energized. I’ve been in Bali for three months now. Yesterday I had my first EBOO session this trip—and today, I feel like I’m 16 years old. Strong, agile, clear-headed. Coincidence? Maybe. But the feeling is real.

How EBOO Helps the Liver

  • Enhances oxygenation in liver tissues, supporting regeneration

  • Reduces systemic inflammation, easing the liver’s burden

  • Flushes cellular waste, bile pigments, and uric acid from circulation

  • Supports mitochondrial function in liver cells (which are packed with mitochondria)

  • Improves microcirculation in the hepatic system

Long-Term Benefits of EBOO

  • Reduced inflammation and oxidative stress

  • Improved cellular energy (ATP production)

  • Greater resilience to infections and environmental toxins

  • Enhanced detoxification capacity

  • Improved mental clarity, mood, and sleep

  • Potential support in metabolic diseases (e.g. fatty liver, insulin resistance)

EBOO vs HBOT: Better Together

I’ve done over 150 hours of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) as part of my cancer and longevity protocols. HBOT saturates plasma with oxygen under pressure, which enhances healing and reduces inflammation.

But EBOO works on a different level—it cleans the blood, optimizes oxygen delivery, and activates immune and antioxidant pathways. It doesn’t just fill your tank with oxygen; it tunes the engine that uses it.

Best case? Use both, spaced a day or two apart. That’s what I’ve been doing during this Bali trip, and the results speak for themselves.

Final Thoughts

EBOO is not a magic bullet—but it’s damn close. For anyone dealing with chronic inflammation, liver issues, autoimmune challenges, or fatigue, it might be worth exploring.

I’m not here to sell you on a miracle. I’m here to say that I feel better, younger, and stronger after every EBOO cycle, especially when it’s part of a broader program including diet, saunas, strength training, and introspection.

Reflection: What Two EBOO Sessions Did for My Blood

After just two EBOO sessions in the past week—combined with glutathione and Vitamin C IVs—my live blood analysis showed a noticeable shift. Red blood cells that were previously sluggish and mildly clumped became more active, better shaped, and more separated, with improved oxygen-carrying capacity. Unhealthy cells noted in the first scan were no longer present. The subtle but clear improvements suggest that EBOO may have helped reduce oxidative stress, enhance circulation, and support detoxification at a cellular level. For me, it was another reminder that deep, systemic therapies don’t always shout—they whisper quietly in the background, changing the terrain from the inside out.
