My Current Viewpoint on Life : Dec 2022
Life seems to be a constant reconciliation between your own beliefs, thoughts, viewpoints, understanding of life, rights and wrongs, decisions and indecisions.
Life is fluid and ever-changing, chaos at times, harmonious at others. I’m sure that there is some sort of truth somewhere underlying all of the constant information and data that exists. With 8 billion of us human beings on the planet there is always going to be a different viewpoint or opinion that finds its way to me and changes everything and rocks my foundations and beliefs.
I suppose that to be honest a lot of what I hold to be true are simply beliefs, some based on faith and others based on my own anecdotal experience. If it works for now and gets me up another rung of life’s ladder then I’m doing something right. What I do know is that I have to remain wide open to whatever comes my way and filter out what isn’t important to me while at the same time grabbing onto the bits and pieces that seem to resonate with what I do hold to be true and important.
I feel stronger than I have at any point in my life. I have plagued myself with self doubt throughout my life while at the same time doing everything possible to be in as much control as I possibly could be. What a dichotomy I create for myself.
For me at this stage of this journey I’m happy to keep it simple. Maybe that’s the key to me being able to offer something of importance to others. I can offer my help but I also have to be willing to not expect anything in return. All I can do is improve my ability to inspire others by my own actions. What people do with any stimulation or motivation I have to offer is well and truly up to them. I can direct them to data and information that I believe to be helpful, I can write my blog and if anybody chooses to read it well and good. It’s for me but I’m willing to share with others.
I’ve always got to remember that some people simply do not want to know, while there are others who truly believe that they really do know. I’m trying hard to just exist in the present and to keep my front door open wide.
My journey is still underway. I do not know where it will take me. When it will end or what to expect when it does. It’s like a lottery that you simply have to believe you are going to win someday but more importantly one that you enjoy the experience and anticipation of playing.
