My Viewpoints

Perception, Frequency (Wavelength), and the Art of Living

What you believe affects how you see the world, and how you see the world affects what happens in your life. Change your perception, and your experience changes with it.

Earlier this month, the world around me shimmered with such synchronicity and beauty that it felt, at times, like a dream I might wake from. People, places, moments—all lined up with a strange grace. And then, almost as quickly, a flicker of doubt crept in. Was I being naïve to trust it? Perhaps that brief questioning—that momentary slip into skepticism—was enough to shift the experience itself. Quite possibly.

But is there anything truly wrong with approaching life with childlike wonder? Isn’t that, in fact, the very purpose of being—to create effects and allow ourselves to be moved by them? To experience life fully through the lens of this physical universe, for better or worse?

It’s relatively easy to brighten someone else’s day—through kindness, attentiveness, compassion. But the true challenge lies in how we receive and respond to what life throws back at us. Every day we are met with countless vibrations, energies, and frequencies. The trick, I believe, is twofold:

a) to observe them calmly, without slipping into knee-jerk reactivity, and

b) to respond with grace, with discernment.

Years ago, I came across what I’ve come to call the Two Rules for Happy Living:

“Be able to experience anything. Cause only those things that others are able to experience easily.”

These words were written by L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology. Whether or not he lived by them is another story entirely—but for me, that’s not the point. Wisdom, like art, does not need to be flawless to be meaningful. If a phrase helps you live more consciously, it has already done its job.

The same can be said of the old biblical saying:

“What you sow, you shall reap.” (Galatians 6:7)

It’s a timeless reminder that our choices echo back to us—that life is, in many ways, a mirror.

I believe this principle holds immense truth, and I’m choosing now to explore it with greater intention. It may sound harsh, but I’ve come to accept that we are fully and brutally responsible for both the joy and the pain that unfold in our lives. That’s not easy to swallow, but it’s also liberating.

Because if it’s true, then I can choose the frequency I operate on. I can become more conscious of how I respond to the energy of others, to the chaotic poetry of the world. And in doing so, I can shape the quality of my life and, ultimately, my happiness.

This understanding extends even to the body I inhabit. If I deepen my awareness of how it works—what supports it, what harms it—I can continue to shape it into a healthy, functional, and fit vessel. A body through which I can not only perceive the world more vividly but engage with it in ways that are joyful, grounded, and alive.

The following passage is a quote from David Icke’s book “The Trap”. He has a way of offering up concepts that I personally have been toying with, into words. For this I am grateful.

Our thoughts and emotions generate frequencies related to those particular thoughts and emotions. The totality of these frequencies are collectively represented as an energetic field that we know as perception. Different thoughts and emotions — points of observation — will produce different perceptions and frequencies in this perceptual field. It is through this field — this ‘aura’ — that we interact with the Simulation Field and the Infinite Field of Possibility and Probability. Different perceptual states will connect with and manifest correspondingly different possibilities and probabilities. Here are two simple examples.

Your perception is that you are an insignificant ‘Little Me’ who has no power to influence your life (experience) and no potential for anything beyond the mundane. You are therefore a follower of those you do believe have that power. You ‘know your place’. It is for others to reason why and for you just to do or die. This limited perception and self-identity is represented energetically in your perceptual field which reflects in its frequencies that same state of limitation. Your limited perceptual field will connect with like-frequencies in the Infinite Field and the possibilities and probabilities that you interact with will reflect your perception of self and reality (Fig 101). A feedback loop is established between you (your perceptions) and the frequencies those perceptions represent in The Fields and in this way your perceptions become a self-fulfilling prophecy in manifesting an experience to match your perception. A Little Me perception becomes a Little Me life. What you believe you perceive and what you perceive you experience. Indeed if your perceptual field is so limited and low in frequency you are doing little more than interact with the Simulation Field which is designed to dictate your whole life. At that point the Matrix has you and that’s the very goal of the Cult and its masters.

By contrast if your perception and self-identity is one of limitless possibility, of being an expression of Infinite Awareness having a brief experience called human, your interaction with The Fields is transformed and so is your life. Your expanded sense of reality and identity becomes a correspondingly expanded perceptual field resonating at much higher frequencies and you interact with the Infinite Field of Possibility and Probability in a far more expansive way (Fig 102). Your expanded perception becomes an expanded experience. ‘Awakening’ is simply an expansion of perception and self-identity out of the fast asleep five senses. Those who go through this process — and the numbers are now phenomenal — notice that synchronicity comes into their life that wasn’t there before. Daily experience becomes peppered with ‘Fancy seeing you here’, ‘What’s the chance of that?’, and ‘bits of luck’ appearing just when you need them. This is nothing to do with ‘luck’. Your expanded perception is interacting with expanded swathes of possibility and far more becomes possible. You are creating a different reality from different perceptions. I experienced all this myself. A quote I saw on the Internet captured the process:

Accidents happen, that’s what everyone says. But in a quantum universe there are no such things as accidents, only possibilities and probabilities folded into existence by perception.
